DETAILS:The First Federal Community Bank building makes a statement in the City of Dover, OH. The new main office presented many design challenges due to unique architectural elements from the two-story floor to ceiling glass corner offices, second floor office area build on top of the drive through lanes to the numerous changes in ceiling heights. We were tasked with designing our MEP systems to match the modern and elegant design of the building. We were able to accomplish this by using linear slot diffusers to complement the linear style light fixtures. The HVAC system that best suited this project was a 70-ton roof top/VAV system giving more control and flexibility throughout the spaces. The light fixtures were carefully selected to match the sharp clean profile of the building. The electric service included a 1,600A service along with an 80kW backup generator. With its modern and striking profile, the new main office will be a fixture in the City of Dover for years and years to come.
